I replaced ignition switch -no help. I disconnected front brake light switch but the rear brake light switch still engaged starter. How do I fix this? 1997 h/d HSTC

Sounds like you have an electrical short someplace, most likely due to bare wires where insulation has been damaged.

That is definitely a short. Take apart your harness and check for damaged insulation.
