You start a restraining order with the police dept. Did you report the assault?

The other issues are separate. If you are living in one of his homes, your rights are unclear. You might be considered a tenant, whether you are paying rent or not, and he would have to evict you. You have no rights regarding utilities being paid unless you had a written lease stating that they were included with your rent.
You have no rights regarding the condition of the house unless you are a renter.
His mortgages are not your business.

If you get a RO, he won't be able to (legally) go to his own house. That will surely cause problems, and if I were you, I would find a new place to live. At best he will have you evicted and at worst he will get violent.

First, any question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

Second, you really gave us very little info to work on. You ask what your rights are, but you don't define with respect to what. Are you asking about your rights to continue to stay in his home (you did say it was his home)? Are you asking what rights you have to remove the mold? If it is his home and you were not married, then you probably have no rights to the property and you should be looking for your own place to stay. You can pay the utilities if you want to stay there a little longer while you find a new place. It will take a long time for the mortgage lender to foreclose.

You have the right to not be assaulted and you can file a Restraining order against him, but there would have to be a police report of the incident and you would have to find him to serve the RO.

If you want more help please be more specific.
