Hi, I have a question of possible pregnancy. My last two periods (1st day of last) are as followed April, 16, 2014 and may 19, 2014. My schedule is usually a 28 day cycle, making my last period 5 days late. I am experiencing servere breast tenderness/soreness and minor stomach cramping/bloating. (White creamy mucus/mild discharge.) I have noticed an increase in urination but it could just be me over thinking but the breast tenderness is unbearable. Also experiencing uncomfortabilty sleeping. My question is could I be pregnant?

If you had sex then of course its possible, but...

Those are all PMS symptoms and common when your period is due or slightly late... none of them are unigue to pregnancy.

Its still too soon to test.. you need to be at least 14 days late before you can get a fairly reliable HPT result. First thing in the AM... right after you wake up... first time you pee that morning. Or you have to wait until the next morning to take it.

Smoothy: hey thank you for your response. My previous period was 5 days late and my next period isn't "due" until around the 16th and because my symptoms are heightened especially my breast tenderness to touch and my next supposed due period isn't due for over 2 weeks.. My question is could this indicate pregnancy or is there another weird reasons as to why I'm having these symptoms.

Other than being a little late, was your last period unusual in any other way... lighter flow, lasting fewer days, for example?

Sore boobs are not indicative of anything really. You'll learn through out your life that your periods can be randomly late or early for no reason. To be honest though five days late isn't really late.

The problem with sore breasts and many of the other popular pregnancy symptoms is that they're not exclusive to pregnancy. Sore breasts can be PMS, pregnancy, random hormone spike, or rough sex. Given that many of the symptoms have multiple causes there is NO way to say that mean anything. The best indicator for you would be a MISSED period, or a period that hasn't started two weeks after it was supposed to. So if you don't get a period in June than you should test yourself. Until that point... There is NO way to know.
