I don't know if I'm just paranoid, but a week ago my vaginal area started to getirritated and a little itchy. I investigated and spread my labia & saw a few raised bumps, I don't know if they're glands or if they've always been there. I don't have insurance right now, so I can't go to the doctor. I can submit pictures, I think it could be genital warts if anything. They don't look like pictures of genital warts that I've seen on the internet, but I'm still afraid & I'm desperate for peace of mind or some help. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.

You don't want to hear this but we can't diagnose you online and the only way to take care of this is to see a doctor. You don't have insurance, you will need to go anyway...things like this won't get better on their own and may wind up getting much worse. Maybe you have a clinic somewhere near you.

As odinn7 says... if you are worried... you have to get tested... otherwise all you or anyone are doing is guessing.

You take the money you are spending on less important stuff and pay for the tests and any treatment if its determined you have one.

Certain ones might have serious long term implications if untreated.

Please do not submit pictures. It wouldn't help if you did. STD/STIs cannot be diagnosed by sight. You need to be tested.

Is there a health clinic in your area?

Planned Parenthood may be another option if there is an office near you. Your health department may be able to give you other options.

Just to ease your mind, Dani, what you 'might' be seeing are bartholin's glands which are located on each side of the Labia minora. May be inflamed for whatever reason that is why you noticed them. I am not saying it is for sure because we can't diagnose and to be safe just got to a clinic, not expensive, and am sure you can find one in your neighbourhood.
