I was just wondering if anyone out there knows of refinancing a first and second mortgage. The problem is, we started our own business a year ago January and have been told by many people that nobody will touch us until we have had the company for 2 years. I haven't even checked in to it yet, but was wondering if anyone is familiar with any of this.
We are struggling with our current bills because of the company just starting and only getting paid here and there. We really need to do something anc combine our bills to one payment.

Thanks!

Do some looking around. Usually you will have no problem with a refi after a year. Some places will do it before a year of owning a home, but they are few and far between. If you have been there at least one year, you will be fine, you should not have any trouble.

Last year my husband and I refied our home and it was horrible, it took for months, and just last week, we refied again, actually for my husband to open his own business!

Do some rate comparisons, and shopping around before you make any concrete decisions. There are a lot of programs out there.

Good Luck!

We have owned our home for 12 years. We took a heloc out a year ago to help my hubby start this business. But now, its just too much with both payments.

Thanks :)
