The question becomes just how big could dinosaurs have been? It might have been thought there could have been some restrictions on size, like having a heart big enough to pump the enormous amounts of blood needed. It is hard to imagine a land animal that could have weighed 100 tons and it is difficult enough to get a machine weighing 100 tons to move, but every step comes down with the force of 25 tons
