How to turn off the predictive text on Samsung mobile phone

That sure is irritating! Here's how I turned it off on my phone--yours might be slightly different.



From the home screen, tap the Menu button (https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nTNa-5VcSxY/Uvjol7ChVsI/AAAAAAAABMA/6Us-xPV_vD4/s1600/image.png)
Select System Settings
Scroll down and select Language & Input
Next to Samsung keyboard, tap the little setting icon (https://www.google.com/help/hc/images/android/android_ug_40/ic_settings_holo_light_gray.png)
Find Predictive Text and turn it off.
