I felt mild cramps and had some white watery discharge at around the time my period was suppose to come. Now I am at one week after my missed period with the same mild cramping and discharge on and off along with other pregnancy symptoms. Does it sound like I am pregnant? Because I NEVER EVER use condom with my husband an d we have been doing so for @years and it's the first I have missed:-[

A weeks way too soon to know. YOU need to be two weeks late to get a reasonably reliable result with a HPT. A blood test at a doctor is more sensitive.

A few women will test negative with a HPT into the second trimester even when they actually are pregnant.

A week may not be too soon to know, some women get a positive result early on in their pregnancy. I tested positive at less than 5 days late with all three of my pregnancies. But, if you're on a budget, can't afford multiple tests, or don't want to be disappointed at a possible false negative, it's best to wait until you're at least 2 weeks late. Most tests are reliable at that time. Not all, but most.

You can test now if you want. If you do, make sure to use first morning urine, it's the most accurate (although I have to say I never did use first morning urine, and tested positive accurately with afternoon urine, with all three pregnancies). To get the best results, the most accurate, use first morning urine, follow the test instructions completely.

If that test is negative, wait another week, and test again if you still haven't gotten your period. If that test is also negative, wait for your next period. If you miss it as well, test again or get a blood test done.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes. :)

You can test, but a NEG result does not mean, not. So you will need to continue to test, till you have a period or test positive
