I went out for my birthday a week ago and had my period. I was drunk and don't remember if I took my tampon out or not. It's a week later and I have no symptoms of a stuck tampon but I'm still really paranoid because in the past I have forgot a tampon. Could the tampon still be in me with no symptoms a week later? It's Sunday and I can't see my Obgyn.

If you think the tampon is still lodged 'in there' it would be a good idea to go to the nearest clinic and get checked out. A serious infection can occur from a tampon being stuck in the vaginal canal.

It's usually possible to feel one with your own finger. Have you tried?
