We have a leak above the hose hookup how do we gewt the back off so we can see in there?

Normally, you do not remove the back. Pop the top off and get to the leak that way. Use a putty knife on each side of the front and push in the clips and the top will come up. You can then unplug the wires and set the top aside to fix the leak, or just tie it up and move it to the side.
