I am on Birth Control and have been for about 6 months now. I got my period a week early and it started light, like my usual periods. Today makes thirteen days that I have had my period and it is a lot heavier then the beginning. What could possibly be the issue?

Could be a good number of issues. I would go to your doctor and ask about it. It is odd that it would come out of the blue like this.
