Hi I posted a question yesterday about a leak I'm getting in the interior of my sliding doors. I have weep holes on the exterior , but they are 6 rows of brick up from the door. Should the weep holes be right above the door like they are at pretty much every window and door ? Attached you will see a picture of my door and the weep holes 6 rows above and a window with the weep holes directly above. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks

I do not know much about weep holes, however are there any windows directly above where you are having the leak on the floor above? I had a leak that looked very similar to the one in your third picture. The cause ended up being the window on the next floor up. It was an older window that did not have holes for the rain water to drain outside. The water would build up during a pretty decent rain storm, and would eventually seep through the bottom of the window, down the wall on the 2nd floor, and out above the sliding door on the first floor. I just pulled the exterior glass pane down to prevent the water from coming in, and the leak stopped. I eventually ended up getting the window replaced 2 years ago and have not had a problem since.

Hi, there are no windows above the sliding door, but there is a patio deck with a brick parapet wall, the patio is poured concrete with Kemper roofing- I'm thinking if the leak is coming from above, wouldn't the water seep out of the weep holes that are 6 courses of brick above sliding door? Maybe they never put flashing behind the brick where the top of sliding door is, I'm not sure.
