Hi I'm 24, I recently stopped taking birth control (generess fe) on April 18, 2014. I switched from zarah to generess fe November 16, 2013. I stopped mid pack. I had been on birth control since I was 16. I had sex on April 23, 2014. I began to have light cramps as if my cycle was about to start on April 24, 2014 but only had light pink spotting that was only on the tissue. This lasted a few hours.
Could that have been an implantation bleed or could it have been a withdrawal bleed from the birth control? Could I be pregnant?

It is very likely and my guess, merely withdrawal from the Birth control pills, but even if you were taking the pills, there is still a chance of pregnancy, no form of birth control is 100 percent.
So now it is a matter, of your body getting back to a regular cycle, unless you are pregnant. You will have to wait about another 4 week before you really should test, and be sure to use first urine of the morning.

@fr_chuck So am I suppose to count the spotting as my period?

No. Your spotting is just spotting. Your period will be a heavier flow. The spotting is probably part of your body adjusting to controlling your cycle again.

Ok thank you. All the websites say something different so I was unsure.
