I am trying to find an old movie where the father dies in the home & he leaves behind his kids: 1 boy & 3 girls, whom don't want to be split up so the midle daughter devices away to keep it a secret from the outside world & there is an old man that's been wanting to marry one of the girls "she is the oldest i think" but her younger sister will not let him because her father always thought he was to old for the girl and that she was a prize catch becaue she was pretty but not so bright so he kept telling the man no, so the daughter I be leave they called her "Romi" has deviced ways to keep him at bay but he keeps snooping around until he finally finds out that the father is dead & the kids are alone. The movie is set up in the mountains & I think it's an old folk movie cause the music is folk music I think it was made back in the 70's or 80's not sure, it is very simularly made like the "Cole Miner's Daughter" they all were overalls & walk around mostly bare foot I also remember a pig & I think a cow in the house at one time. Can someone please help. I wached this movie when I was in school one time that was in the 80's. Thank you
