hello my name is Anthony, and recently got my misdemeanor expunged in California. I was wondering if anyone has the same situation, if you guys have gotten a live scan done? and what came up exactly what it says? and if you guys or gals have found a good job? and what did you guys check on the application box of ever been convicted "yes" OR "no"??

You are legally allowed to say no, never convicted.
However that doesn't mean that your record won't be seen by some! It's never actually erased from law enforcement and the courts. But the main problem is that background checks can show the old data. Either the background check company hasn't paid for recent changes to old files, or the courts are slow getting the record changed and added to huge databases that they send out in batches to those companies.

So you just won't know until you apply, sorry.
