Hi, my question is, on the 14th-15th day of my menstrual cycle, if my partner used the 'pull out' method what's the likelihood I would get pregnant? I'm not on any contraception and still breastfeeding 7month old daughter, thanks

The pull out method is like playing Russian roulette with 5 out of 6 bullets in the cylinder, and just about as effective. Meaning its really not a form of birth control at all.

Yes you can get pregnant... very easily that way.

Becoming pregnant is complicated but can be boiled down to the probability of a sperm reaching and fertilizing the egg. When you're on birth control, or using a condom, or have been surgically sterilized, you're removing one of the two from the equation so your chances of becoming pregnant are EXTREMELY low. Not non-existant, but low. When you don't practice any form of birth control then it is very likely. When you pull out there is a lesser chance but still a good chance. You just reducing the number of sperm in you. The chance in probabilty is small though and because of this a lot of people don't view pulling out as a valid for of birth control.

Becareful.

LOL..."what's the likelihood"...there is no way to tell. All you can be told is that yes, it can happen.

The pullout method of birth control is the worst way to avoid pregnancy in the world.

Considering you are breastfeeding, the likelihood is low, not non-existent, but low. Breastfeeding typically prevents ovulation.

With that said, pregnancy is still a possibility.
