Hi Lulu

Obviously, the drain line is clogged and needs to be snaked to clear it. Are there accessible cleanouts in the drain lines...should be if the drain pipe is accessible. You can try to snake the drain line by renting the cable machine from a local tool rental company or have a plumber in to clear the blockage. The wax gasket for the toilet should also be replaced as it has been compromised and can let sewer gasses into the home!

Good luck!

Not too good aplan to connect the laundry/kitchen to anything the main. In my area we never would run the washer past a shower, especially a fixture that has a drain at floor level. That's just asking for trouble, and with a septic system we never hook to the main going to the tank, We run it through a grease trap first. Sorry for your problem but I see more of them in the future. Good luck, Tom
