I have a set of beautiful Noritake 7236 Homage China... have 18 5-piece place settings plus lots serving pieces including. Some never used. Others used less than half dozen times. I've seen lots of different prices on websites but don't see much being sold.

It seems that most people have stopped enjoying good china so I'm not sure best way to sell it. HELP! Thanks.

EBay or Craigslist for selling but you are right, China like this is mostly sentimental value. I sold a Noritake set for 12, black N, 1939, got $150 from Craigslist.

Patterns fall in and out of favor. Small flowers on white seem to be out of favor. Many eBay sellers therefore sell them by the piece, for people who need a replacement. (Don't go by prices from Replacements Ltd - they are very high).

Early fall is the best time to sell.

Also, it's no fun shipping a full set. It would take several boxes and tons of bubble wrap. Your best bet might be a local consignment shop, or a small town newspaper. Craigslist too, but I just don't see it as a site where people look for fine china.

You might still want to try eBay, using the "vintage" category. Yes, packing it up would be quite a chore, but you might even want to hire someone to pack it if you get a good price for it. Maybe your local UPS Store would pack it, or suggest another place which would provide packing.
