I am a 46 year old male football, basketball, and track coach. I have a heart murmur from when I had Rheumatic Fever at the age of 8 years old. I am on high blood pressure medicine and sleep with a CPAP machine. I have recently been diagnosed with a Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm. Should I have this repaired without repairing the valve of the murmur to prevent open heart surgery? If I can have the endovascular procedure without repairing the valve how big of a risk is it that I will get another Aneurysm? Also will I be able to return to coaching at a high intensity level or is that unhealthy?

You should ask your doctor all these questions. If you are able to, get a second opinion. We don't have access to your medical records and getting advice online about your particular case is foolish.

Your heart needs all the help it can get apparently, but whatever you decide after having a proper in depth discussion with your doctor, I don't think your future will include high intensity anything unless you get the proper diagnosis from a cardiologist.

No, this can't be accomplished on line.
