I am trying to figure out how to find a good criminal lawyer. My brother was recently arrested for supposedly selling 1/2 gram of cocaine a year and a half age. He says he's innocent of these charges and needs a good lawyer who is willing to fight for him. We have paid out 15,000 already in attorney fees. I just don't know how to help him -- I believe in his innocence and don't know how to help him. Any suggestions, please.

An attorney can see and review the evidence against them. An attorney can know if that evidence was obtained legally or if there is a challenge to the evidence.

1. what evidence is there?
2. why are police saying he is guilty.
3. yes they may wait that long, and it is common when undercover officers are used.
4. was he in possession of the drug ? I ask because often mere possession of certain amounts can be charged with possession
5. was he at a drug house, where it was sold. Did he take a friend there, to get the drugs

You can check with the local bar association, or also check with some of the local bail bond agency, they often know better attorneys.
