Cookie recipe uses two thirds cup brown sugar. How much brown sugar is needed to make 2 and one half times the original recipe

So what do you think the answer is. Look at the question. What equation would help you solve this? If this is to practice, us giving you the answer won't help. You have to learn to figure this out so that you can pass the test.
Write down your equation, and the answer, and we can tell you if you're right. But it's against site rules to just give you the answer. Doing that really won't help you in the long run. You have to learn how to do this yourself. We can help, but not do it for you. That's not helping.

2X 2/3 is what? 1/2 of 2/3 is what? Use common denominators. Add them up.
