Home Page | American Tinnitus Association (http://www.ata.org/home) is a place to start, but it doesn't really cover a lot of home remedies. There is so much to say that it's best if you state your age and medical history first. Anything from high blood pressure to bad teeth to chronic sinus conditions to hardening of delicate ear parts (mostly as you age), and on from there, can be a possible cause. Most of us have it by my age (late 60s).
A typical treatment (not cure, there is no cure) is white noise. I leave my TV on very low. Music would be better but TV is easier for me.
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/269207.php is something on the forefront that you may or may not be a candidate for.

You really need to see your doctor... and have them diagnose the cause of yours... usually there is nothing you can do to stop or cure it... and there is no magical cure despite what you might see advertized on TV.
I just learned to mentally tune it out... meaning ignore it.
