I consumed 9 shots of whiskey last night, it was a Friday. I had my last one at 9 o'clock. I have an EtG urine screen on Monday at 3 o'clock pm. Will I fail the test if I completely refrain from drinking? Is there anything I can do to improve my chances?

I am 26 years old, I am 5'8", I weigh 174 lbs

If you have more information to add, please 'edit post' (if available) or use the Answer Question box or Go Advanced option at the bottom of the page.

Thank you

Because the sensitivity of testing can depend on the reason for the test, why are you being tested?

If I were a betting man I wouldn't bet on you passing. That doesn't mean that you couldn't, but rather that the odds aren't in your favour. The sensitivity of the test is advertised as about 60-80 hours. You're skirting that 60hr mark very closely especially considering that you've had about 9 shouts of whiskey, which can range from 40-60% (80-120 proof) alcohol content, though considering that you were shooting them back I would guess it was a solid 80proof.

What can you do? There's nothing you can really do for this test. For the future. Stop drinking. You've got a reason that you need to be tested for consumption, that usually implies that you shouldn't be drinking. So... stop. AA meetings are never too far away.
