I was at a flee-market in Palo Alto, CA, and saw that old lady selling paintings. She said it is all left from her husband who just recently has died. There were 4-5 great paintings, but this one struck me when I saw it, but I can't remember where did I see it or who is the artist. It looks like a master's hand. The style is of something of french impressionists, though the subject is a landscape like pacific islands, carribians or Hawaii. There is no signature on it, but it is old, has simple framing and there is a note on the back saying "Pincus Picture Frame Shop, 141 Montague St, Brooklyn, N.Y.". Can anyone help me identify it? I know it is hard with no signature on it, but I definitely saw it somewhere or saw similar art of the same artist.
