Possible...but then it's just as possible that you could fail. You are right on what is normally considered borderline. Some tests can catch you up to 80 hours...then I have read about people passing after 40 hours. Depends on the person, the test, and the luck involved.

If it's that big of a deal, you may want to learn from this if you pass and not take chances anymore. Just sayin'.

I don't think we have answered this type of question with criticism. Why would we ? But if you didn't drink, you wouldn't have to go through this, would you ?

If you're having to take a EtG test then someone is enforcing a no-liquor ban on you for some reason. Whether it is an intensive rehab program, a condition of parole, or an employment requirement. For one reason or another you shouldn't have been imbibing and you did. You're going to be alone in facing the consequences of that. It is hard to slow down and quit drinking, and even harder if you're forced to do it cold turkey. There is support for you if you want it. You just have to want it.

We're probably, mainly me to be honest, criticising because we can't condone drinking when you shouldn't be. I condone drinking. I have 30+ bottles of scotch, some can legally vote and buy alcohol in all states, and I enjoy a dram every few nights. My consumption has dropped severely in the last few years for mainly financial reasons. It sucks, but what can you do?

If you can and have no reason not to drink than drink. If for some reason someone expects you to be sober 24/7 and is willing to test to ensure that you're sober, than you should stay the course and be sober. Besides the DD has the best stories the next day.
