I finally figured out the squeaky toy sounds... they were coming from my son's tablet, he apparently downloaded "talkingtom" and it must have a mind of it's own. Since my son leaves it everywhere in the house that is why I kept hearing it. Now that I know I feel really silly!!

No, don't think you're silly. As you can see your thread had quite a few responses. You're not the only one out there and perhaps others may use this as a way to further look into what is causing their noises.
