I have a Panasonic Viera XM6 Tv. It won't turn on. The LED goes green and then flashes red and goes off. What causes this. Can I reset it somehow?

This is an issue best looked into on the Panasonic site. Try the FAQ page Troubleshooting or Knowledge Base first and if they have a help forum ask your question in the appropriate place. Any lightning storms in your area lately? here's a link for you: Find Answers (http://eng-na.faq.panasonic.com/app/answers/list) hopefully your under warranty since they obviously don't want you to know what the number of blinks indicates. That's so you have to pay a technician. But you can try e-mailing them and asking what 3 blinks (or whatever) means.

Unfortunately, resetting is done through a series of on screen commands selected from the menu--which won't do you much good if you can't turn it on.

Like Appzalien mentioned, the number of times it flashes red is a code for a specific problem. So knowing that number will help narrow your search for answers. Most of the time it involves having one of about a dozen different circuit boards replaced.
