How's do I save favorites in XP to disc and/or on hard drive? They are really getting out of control, but most of them I want to keep archived. Thanks, lassm610:p

File>Import/Export. This will save it to a bookmark.htm file you can store anywhere.

Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites
And all your favourites will be there you can drag them into another part of your HDD.
As they are only about a 1K each you can put them on a floppy disk

They don't take up much space

Is this how you do it for XP. I have done it many times in 98, 2000ME but this XP is fussy. Also, I have service pack 2. I want VISTA, but am waiting for a bit until they get some of the "bugs" out. I am gong to try what you said above. Thanks, Marti

The way to save Favorites hasn't changed materially since 98. This is an IE thing, not totally Windows. You can do it through IE or just save the folder.
