Iīm looking for the title / synopsis of a tv-movie (perhaps a series of short films? Around 1 hour long), it was british, supernatural, about an apartment that was haunted? Very blurry all this. There was a bird (parrot?) in a cage in that apartment. There were an elderly couple, and I think the point of the film was that things occurred over and over again in time in that apartment. I was sure Hilary Mason (the scary blind lady from "Donīt look now") was in the film, but I canīt find it when I look around her films. I MUST find out what this was!! I believe I saw it around 1986/1987.

Okay - so there is an episode of Out of the Unknown called The Uninvited, that Hilary Mason was in. I can't find anything, nada, nothing on this particular episode - but - there was a review given by someone (here: "Out of the Unknown" The Uninvited (TV Episode 1971) - IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067905/)), and they say there was a remake (sorta) of this episode done on Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense series, called In Possession. I have found a bit more info on that version - there are references to spirits, apartment, couples, etc. Does either of those series sound familiar?
