I'm 17 and my gfs pregnant and I'm fine with staying with her and helping but I just thought about an adoption center what should I do?!

You can think all you want... but the choice to put it up for adoption is all hers to make... meaning, you might suggest it... but that's all you have a right to do.

That means if she wants to keep it you will be paying to raise it until the child is legally an adult... you won't get to make a choice in that either. Even if at some point you are no longer with her.

It is the mothers choice, you have no choice as to what happens.

And of course you can "help her out" it is your moral and also your legal duty.

You will have to pay child support to the mother, if you do not stay together till the child is grown.

You can prevent her giving the child up for adoption since both parents need to consent to it. But that also means that she can block it too.

You should sit down with her and your parents and discuss this fully. You don't say how old you are, but at 17 she has her life ahead of her as do you. At her age having a child means outing your lives on hold. It will make dealing with schooling more difficult. So you really need to discuss this fully.
