My water is supplied from a shared well. All systems seem to be working appropriately. My home is located approximately 100 feet higher than the well head, and my house pressure is noticeably lower than the other two homes that share the well. They are located at the same elevation of the well head. Would the installation of an in-line booster pump be beneficial to my water pressure?

How old is your house and what material are the pipes? What is your neighbors PSI and what is yours? A booster pump with helpful are more concerned with why your neighbors have been pressure and you don't. Can you help me out here? Back to you, Tom

The 100 feet of elevation you have is likely the culprit. It takes over 40# of pressure just to get water to your house, so your pressure will be that much less than your neighbor's. A booster pump could certainly be helpful.

Just curious. To be 100# higher than the wellhead, I would think you would have to be HUndreds of feet away (to get that much slope). How far away are you? If it's several hundred feet, then that can be an issue as well.
