How do I start. I starting talking to this guy online and we spoke for awhile and than stopped this was over a year ago. A month ago I had set up a new profile and some I started talking to him again and first didn't realize it who he was and this happened again a month ago. Is this a sign that I need to give this a shot and meet him and see what happens.

I think it's a sign you have no clue who he is or what he is about or if he is trolling for a victim. You don't know enough. What are you talking about and why does it end, and why is he always on a on line chat sight?

Forget signs, err on the side of caution always when talking online.

I met a guy about a year ago and at the time I liked him but was kind of hooked on someone else . Anyway I now have had an epiphany you can say and realized the guy I was hooked on was wrong and the first was right. Why do we do this? Why can't we figure things out at that moment?

Its called experience... until you have enough... you are more prone to making these mistakes. Notice I didn't say you become immune from them with experience...just more likely to see them.

Threads have been merged

Finding out you made a mistake with a guy is not an epiphany, it's just finding stuff out is all. It could have just as easily been a mistake with the guy from a year ago.

Since these were merged and I never saw the other thread until now... what exactly is wrong with finding someone local to you? Roughly half the population is male with the other half female. That means lots of local people not hiding behind a computer screen pretending to be something they aren't.

This electronic short cut to meeting people, and doing stuff has me baffled as well, since if you are to busy to have a real life, then what makes you think you can have a real relationship?

Hi thanks for responding. These two posts are separate..

They are both online people instead of local people. What's wrong with meeting a real person local to you?
