Wasn't able to edit my question. After posting it I realised that I forgot to mention in Ontario, Canada. Sorry about that all.

If it involves you, get a lawyer. Don't take any chances. Allot of lawters (ess. Criminal) will talk to you for free over the phone. Even if you have to pay it is worth it if it is a good lawyer.

Hello Lee-Ann,
For Federal crimes, see the Criminal Code of Canada: Criminal Code (http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/ShowTdm/cs/C-46)
For Ontario statutes see: E-Laws | Welcome to release 3 (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/home_E.asp?lang=en)
