My last electric bills were quite a bit higher than they should be. During the summer I got a new Filtrete 3M-20 thermostat, this thermostat does not have the auxiliary button that can be turned on. I have 5 wires, I connected Blue to B, White to W2, Yellow to Y,
Red to RH and Green to G.
I set the Jumpers to 3 and 6. (Now looking back at instructions I think this should be 3 and 7)

Jumper Labels ( ON/OFF)
1.Heat Pump/Normal
2.HP-AUX Only/Normal
3.RC-RH Concted/RC-RH Separate
4.Gas-Oil HP AUX/Elect HP-Aux
5.Celcious Display/Fahrenheit Display
6.Gas-Oil Heat/No Fan
7.Elec.Heat/No Fan

Does this all look correct or would something be wrong with this that would make my bill so much higher?
Should the jumpers be set to 3 and 7? Or 1,3,7?
Or should I just purchase a thermostat with the AUX switch?
