Im in year 8 this year in high school (Australian school) And there's a group of girls who hate me and my best friend but loves my guy best friend. Im scared I won't be in any classes with my girl best friend Tamara, or my guy best friend seth. And its hard because I don't have many friends and I will get lost finding my class rooms. And I don't want to be in any classes with the group of girls. How are classes picked? And I really want to be in the same class as one of them. I was in all Tamara's classes last year expet English, maths & History. So how are classes picked? And what's a way to get through this year without any trouble from the girls?

I have no idea how classes are picked there but I do know that navigating friendships and conflicts are a part of growing up and life. You can't hide behind your best friends all through school. Who knows one of those girls night become your friend. Be yourself and do your work. This is unfortunately the behavior of kids your age and it works itself out.
