It is the winter season and as we all know, it gets very dry and hair gets a lot of static. We all hate it, I know. Then your hair gets stuck on your face or is standing up straight like porcupine hair and gets really annoying. Also, dust attracts to it so after brushing or combing my hair a lot of the dust transfers to the hairbrush. So I was wondering does anyone know how to reduce the amount of static electricity in your hair? Thanks!

Yes, use a hair conditioner.

Spray some hairspray on your brush before brushing.

Moistening your hair also works, as well as hairspray. Avoid blow drying your hair, let it dry naturally.

Morrican oil, or any Argan oil based product, should help. It will, as Alty said, moisturise your hair and keep it a little less frizzy. You can get a variety of leave in hair oil treatments and I have experimented with quite a few of them. The Argan oil is my favourite one. (Male with long curly and sometimes frizzy hair)
