I have a large swollen spot in the top of my mouth and I can't seem to find much info regarding possible symptoms. Once site suggested tonsillitis but I've had my tonsills removed and don't have the white bumps that typically show with strep or tonsillitis. The area is sore and raised and I'm wondering if it's time to see a Dr. I know that there are glands in the top of the mouth and wonder if this could be related to minor allergies or a sinus infection. I have not had a cold or the flu so this just seems very odd.

When in doubt about your health, it is always best advised to see your doctor.

I don't have an answer for you other than make an appointment with your doctor to have an exam done.
