I have always had quite long hair though within the past year and more so the past few months/weeks its gotten so short, just below my shoulders, with split ends, I'm getting it cut tomorrow to get rid of the split ends in the hope it'll grow more, but its depressing me, I actually cry about it, vain maybe but its just I'm so used to long hair and healthy nice hair, some friends say its cause I have dyed it quite a few times, but I'm also anemic so I'm thinking it's that, I'm taking iron medicine and using a fast growing shampoo, only really started these and obviously until I get my hair cut tomorrow and give it a week or two I won't know if anything is working, just wondering does anyone know any other tips?? I don't use a hairdryer on it, and only really straighten it on weekends, I always use shampoo and conditioner and have cut down to just washing my hair every 3 days.

Maybe your hair is lacking some essential nutrients to keep it growing long. Try looking for a treatment that will help hair to grow fast and long...

Of course dying or bleaching your hair is bad for it, as is straightening it, and anemia. Your hair is a living part of your body, depends on your overall health, and reacts to chemicals and heat the same way any other part of your body does.
