I need help trying to find a present fro my boyfriend. We have been dating for 7 months going on 8 soon. I have ideas but I need more for it to be perfect.
Here are some things about him and what he likes:
-hockey
-mincraft
-magic tricks
-i hope me :)
-12 years old
-name is Julien
-grade 7
-favourite colours are blue, purple and green
-fudge
I was thinking of baking him heart shaped cookies and writing I love you on them and then giving him a nice love poem.
(btw the present is for Christmas)
Thank you for all the help!

Cookies and a poem, yes. Save the I LOVE YOU ones for Valentine's Day though.
Save store bought presents for when you are much older.
When I was about 10 I had a favorite magic trick that cost very little: A tiny sliding metal box and what looked like a regular penny, but it was magnetic, so it stuck to the top of the box when opened again and seemingly disappeared. I suppose I can relax the usual adult warnings about gifts when you are this young and say sure, get a magic trick, but don't spend more than $5. In addition to the cookies and poem.

Kids are probably different these days but I used to LOVE getting comic books at that age. Not just any comics though...ones I liked...Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Daredevil, Iron-Man...I don't suppose he likes comics at all, right? They were cheap and a great gift.

What about a graphic novel he hasn't read? Fudge or caramel brownies or cookies would be cool (do kids still say "cool"?).

I have a problem with a 12 year old being any one's boyfriend and 12 yr old's "dating" for7 months. I also have a problem encouraging such a relationship.
I have to ask, whether your parents are aware of this relationship and approve of it.
