Kenmore Elite Dishasher Model 66513854K602 Age 6 years Originally had a problem with blinking lights on the control panel. I ran a diagnostic which I removed the ribbon from the control board and seemed to suggest the control panel was bad. I replaced the control panel and the dishwasher worked once on its own I assume it was reading information from the control board. But now it does not work there is no light or action when the buttons are pressed. I got a kit and replaced the thermal fuse but the dishwasher does not work even though it has power. The dispenser seems to be okay. Any suggestions on what I should try next would be appreciated.

Have you checked the door switch? If it is open it will do what you have described. Before changing parts you should check the various safeties and switches. It would save you a lot of money and time. You cannot repair something by changing parts in a effort to diagnose it. Use a meter; it's the proper way.
