Hello,

I drank a pint of 100 proof vodka on Saturday night. On Sunday night I drank 7 shots of 90 proof liquor. I stopped around midnight.

The next day, Monday, I had excessive diarrhea, very watery all day, and drank two or three cups of coffee and about two gallons of water. I urinated many many times throughout the day prior to my test. Shortly before my test I drank most of the second gallon and took a multivitamin. I had been free of alcohol for 3 months prior to my use. I took a UA at about 1030 pm. Approximately 22 or 23 hours after stopping drinking. My urine seemed to be pure water. I also attempted the e coli trick and but it didn't seem lime I had much of anything on my finger, yet I still let the pee run over my finger before entering the cup. I don't care if the UA comes up diluted. That us what I'm hoping for in fact. I want to know the likelihood that it was diluted enough not to get a positive Im not sure what the cut off is for the test. But basically I'm asking can I drink enough water coupled with the 22 hrs that they won't get a reading?

No. In addition they will know you have been trying to flush by excessive water etc. Ecoli will do nothing to ETG, it is very stable.

On what basis do you say no? Can you explain further? Dr. Bill on this forum, along with numerous other sources have stated that ETG can effectively be diluted generally.. I am obviously looking for further expansion on this but it has been stated multiple times. As far as the e coli, that was a Arab in the dark but I have seen studies that explain bacterial breakdown of ETG, so I'm also still somewhat curious about how stable it is

When they do the test they test for the amount of the ETG as well as other compounds in the urine. They'll scale the results. As well with the amount alcohol you had, diluting will not cause a negative reaction. You had 7 shots, about 10-11oz of 45% alcohol. You would still be processing that during the next day. Leaving about 12 hrs instead of the 23hrs. So there will still be a measurable amount.

The test is setup such you can't game it that easy. Sorry to say.
