2004 6L. Ford. My thermostat went bad causing my engine not to warm up very fast or hot thus only luke warm air. So I Pulled the upper coolant hose and after trying to pull the thermostat decided to remove the 3 inch.. ish diam. Hose that runs from the top center of the motor towards the driver side where it drops down under the air box and hooks in just to the driver side of the radiator. I changed the thermostat and put everything back together... bam everything worked FOR A DAY. I now have not turbo boost. It has kicked on a bit for a few minutes but not enough to allow for proper power. The vacuum pump stays on a long time now. What did I do? Vacuum line by the mass air flow? I can't find anything loose. It is 7 degrees here so I am loving the time with my truck.
