Hello, I am currently only 5 weeks along. Today when I went to rr I am pretty sure I lost my mucus plug (long, stringy, clearish clump) I read your mucus plug can regenerate but can't really find any info on it? Do I have anything to worry about? I currently do not have a dr yet, trying to get insurance figured out. I also just had a miscarriage about 2 months ago. (I was only about 4 weeks along then)

It is my understanding the secretions during pregnancy are the result of the increase in the hormone estrogen. It does not necessarily mean it was your mucus plug. You will probably see much discharge during pregnancy. It is unfortunate that you do not have insurance, but as no diagnosis can be given on the internet, I am hesitant to qualify what exactly you saw.
You must find a doctor as soon as possible; however there must be many free clinics in your area.

Many women have bloody stringy discharge throughout pregnancy, and mistake it for the mucous plug. Even with a picture it would be hard to tell you 100% that you lost your plug.
Having said that, we really can't diagnose online. You will need to find a doctor, and soon, to have a healthy pregnancy. You really can't rely on the internet for answers, as there are way too many possibilities for each scenario.
Make sure you're taking your prenatal vitamins, and if worse comes to worse, if you start to miscarry and you're bleeding heavily, you must get to a hospital right away.
I wish you the best of luck.
