My 5 month old fell and bumped her head but she cried for 2 minutes and came back to normal playing and talking like nothing just happened should I be worried?

Pretty common bump for age. Monitor her movements. Any tripping or falling, dizziness or getting sick, take her to the DR.

If a child bumps her head and acts sluggish without crying, that is when you worry.

You sound like a first time parent. I used to be the same way when my child would fall down, bang her head and cry - then get up and play like nothing ever happened. It sounds like she is OK, and I wouldn't worry. They will take a few lumps and bumps now and then. You will know when it is serious. Good luck!

I'm more cautious than the others that have posted, mainly because I don't want to make light of something and then be wrong.

So my advice to you is that you're the parent, you can see your child, you can monitor her, you can feel her head and know if there's a bump, you can see what's happening with her. We can't. So really, this is your call. If you're concerned, see a doctor. If it's nothing, at least you'll know. If it's something, you won't regret going. But really, this is part of being a parent, and you have to make the decision.

What did parents do before the internet? Oh, they decided what was best for their children, they didn't Google. The world needs more of that in my opinion.

Good luck.
