Last time I posted on this site, I was constantly imagining myself cause harm to other people. I told my mom about my problem but her insurance wouldn't allow us to find a professional and we can't afford one ourselves so eventually we forgot about it. My obsession went away for a while so I wasn't that worried about it, thinking it was just a phase from mental abuse.
However, a few months ago I started to notice that I started to refer to a little voice in my head as if it were a separate person, I even named it Alice. Alice is highly aggressive and greatly dislikes my family, my brother especially. For a while I thought maybe this was just me but I can't really view Alice and I as the same person, Her thought process is horrifyingly graphic and frightens me. Also, Alice seems to love the two big knives in the kitchen.
To make things worse, the other night I had a weird nightmare where I killed a girl. I don't really know who she was but I feel like she was someone back from eighth grade. I never told anyone about Alice, I really don't want my mom to freak out and say I'm mentally insane again, and now I'm really afraid to tell her cause of my nightmare. What should I do?

You need help, before serious harm comes to you, or someone else.
The thoughts you are having, need to be shared with a professional, who can assess what is going on with you, and plan treatment. It is important that you tell your mother, and also tell her that you want to start with your family doctor. This situation, as you stated it, will require more than counseling, and most likely a referral to a Psychiatrist for a complete assessment, and diagnosis will be considered.
It isn't optional. You must seek help, and immediately.
Not being able to afford help, means you find another way. Your doctor can help there too, and social services, service clubs, etc. All professionals in a mental health field do pro bono services- meaning free- when necessary.
Find a way.

Your house may not be "haunted" but spirits are everywhere. I wouldn't invite anything in to your home, but if you "feel/sense" a spirit just speak to it,anounce you mean it no harm and don't be afraid... evil loves fear. Good luck and be safe

"her insurance wouldn't allow us to find a professional". I do not believe the health insurance policy of you mother would exclude a mental health visit.
The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, or MHPAEA of 2010, requires private health insurance plans to provide equal coverage for mental and physical health services. Congress passed MHPAEA so adults and children suffering from mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression, and substance use disorders, such as those related to alcohol use, would have better access to the treatment they need.
You never answered the question about your age. Are you eligible under her coverage?

Her insurance as well as her union are not exactly the brightest bunch. Plus since the company she works for has cut some benefits and changed certain things we don't know what's covered anymore really and they give us a hard time when we ask. Also, they have gotten into a habit of not wanting to pay at times when we have medical issues. And my age is 16.

That's no excuse. You don't need insurance to get help. Most counselors have a psychiatrist in their back pocket and they also have a sliding scale, will even do free counseling, if that has to be the case. Your public library's reference desk probably has a ready-reference list of area counselors/psychologists/psychiatrists. Please start making calls.

You tell your mom, if she does not get you help, tell a school counselor
