Electricians have been here twice, and both time changed circuit breakers that were burned up, but never really gave answers about what is going on. Our general purpose breakers trip when hardly anything is running. So far, we've had central heat/air, 2 toaster ovens, a microwave, and now a Colby Duraflame space heater ruined. The items still work. They over-work. The thermostats fail. The toasters burn everything, the heater will no longer cycle off and has to be unplugged to make it turn off. The central air unit had wires burned up inside. It completely stopped and if we even plug it in it trips power to the whole house.

I really feel like too much power is running to the home. I know nothing about electrical systems, but there is a big problem here and to me it seems to be way too much power is going to everything. The electric company is no help. 2 different electricians were no help.

Please, can someone advise me on this? What is most likely going on?

The power company said to call an electrician. The first electrician, who we called over when the central heat/air died, replaced burned breakers and said the ac caused it. The second electrician we had over because our breaker box was buzzing and feeling hot, changed burned breakers. None are getting to the root of the problem.

The problem is most likely your breaker panel. Replacing burned breakers in the same spot is useless since it will only happen again. And if one (or more) is doing it then it's likely more will.

Find a competent electrician to change your panel or do a service upgrade.

I agree with Stan. You don't have too much power, you may be USING too much for the panel rating. What amperage is the panel and what is connected?
If you are burning breakers you are drawing too much through them.
