Dear Dr,

I had a 28 day cycle. I conceived when I was 28 yrs old. During the 4th week scan the dr informed us of the presence of a left ovary - endometriotic cyst that was around 5*5*5. The Dr had prescribed me Susten then. My pregnancy ended up in a miscarriage at 6 weeks.
After that we took a break for 6 months and have started trying again. My doctor has prescribed me Baby Aspirin. But every month though pregnancy symptoms occur initially my periods come though late .After the miscarriage my periods have become very irregular.. around 25 - 34 days.. A recent scan showed that the cyst has reduced to 3*3*3. in spite of trying we have not met any success.. What are the chances that we have a natural conception? Should we go in for an IUI? With the cyst if I conceive will it affect my baby?

These are questions best left to your doctor.

I believe there is still a chance for a natural conception but this is reliant of whether the cyst is mucking around with your hormones, which it could be if your periods are irregular. I can confirm any of this though.
