Hi I'm 22 and I'm a virgin, though I have had genital warts for a very long time they don't seem to go away. I want some help please. Have used Duofilm and wart tablets but they either keep increasing or never disappear. I truly have never had any form of sexual physical contact with another person. How is this possible and how do I get them off?

This is confusing especially since you've never had sex. Does your mother have genital warts? It could be transferred that way during birth.
Have you talked to your doctor about these, there might a medical procedure to remove them.

HAHAHA how would I know if my mother has them? Im not going to ask her sorry lol. Thanks CravenM :) lol. I know most people might say it might not be warts because of so many other possibilities but I have checked everything and all of the facts leads down to me having warts. They have recently increased from 19 to 21 so it's a little upsetting and I'm freaking out. Too shy and expensive to go to a doctor, anyone have any home remedies or advice?

Yea... ask your mother. That would be a awkward conversation.
We're not really going to suggest anything other then seeing a doctor. You might find a good solution else where online but be careful with it. There are a lot of folk remedies that will just hurt you and could hurt you really bad. Be especially careful around your genitals because that could result in infertility. If we were to suggest these to you, we might be libel for the results. I don't want that pill.
Just remember that your doctor has seen things that would make you cringe. Having what you have isn't anything serious or disturbing to him. They're trained to deal with that sort of thing. My advice, since they're spreading, is to see a doctor.

Why laugh at this reply, it was perfectly valid?
Genital warts are passed on at birth if the mother has them. Think about it.
Unless of course if you were playing around with someone who has them.
What other answers do you want.
Go to a doctor if you don't like answers from strangers.

Seriously? I thanked him didn't I? Leave me alone. If I didn't like the answers I wouldn't be on this site so egh... this is tiring. Have fun :)

They sound more like papillomas. They are caused by a virus, as genital warts are.
If you had genital warts they would most likely be spreading.

Maybe.. she says 'they either keep increasing or never disappear' which isn't clear about number vs size, or what.
Papillomas are a good start to check pictures and descriptions online while waiting for a doctor's visit.

Let's clear up a little myth. Genital warts aren't spread from a mother to a child during childbirth. Should the mother have active lesions at childbirth, the virus would be more severe and involve the entire body, not just the genitals. This is a very serious situation if a mother has active warts at the time of delivery.
To the OP, lacking an exam by a doctor you don't know for certain that these are genital warts. There is no way we can diagnose that online, so a trip to the doctor is in order. There are no home remedies for genital warts.

This post is disturbing. Google doesn't have the answer anymore? When it comes to medical issues, Google never had the answer. You won't find a cure for medical issues online, you won't find a diagnosis online, ever! All the sites that claim to diagnose and treat, are a crock! So Google never ever had the answer, only your doctor does.
Is this the future generation, thinking every answer to every question they have can be found online? If so, that's really very scary since most of the info found online is not at all accurate.

Lol things are being taken way out of proportion now. I did say how many I have and I know for a fact they are warts because of the similar color to my skin, protruding effect and hardness. I've had warts before so I know. I just asked for advice or wanted to know if someone had the same problem and going to the doctor is the only option so ill take it. Yeah I don't have warts all over my body so guess my mother didn't have any serious viruses. Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll be sure to go to a doctor from now on and not expect anything online. 🌹

No, it wasn't blown out of proportion. Just fact stating.
Now, they may not be genital warts in the sense of Herpes. There are different strains of the virus. Only a doctor can tell you exactly what they are.
