Hello, I have a duplex, and I have a problem with the 1st apt. When the water is on, it is leaking into the garage, and basement. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I would appreciate any help.

Hi Gingin

Does water leak when you are not using the plumbing fixtures? If so, then there is a leak in the water pipe... sounds like you'll need a plumber for this. If the leak only happens when you use a specific fixture then a waste pipe or fixture has a leak and from the little information you provided this still suggests that you'll need to pull a plumber in... ;)

Good luck!

More details please! Can only be seen? Is this a pressure or a drainage leak? The more information you give us the better we can answer. Back to you, Tom

Hi Tom, thank you for your response, and I apologize for the lack of info. I got this bldg in a divorce settlement, and I am not sure how to explain it properly, but I will gather more info and submit it.
