So I met this guy that I really like and has treated me how I'm supposed to be treated and I know he loved me (all of the guys I've dated didn't treat me right or I didn't feel the same way about them as they did me) about a year and a half ago, I started dating this guy about 6 months ago and things were going fine until I cheated on him. Then it went downhill from there. He couldn't trust me anymore. I even went so far as to lie to him and tell him that I wasn't talking to my ex (who I cheated on him with). He found out about it. I also lied to him about how many people I told about our breakup, before this, he said that we were going to get back together when he graduated from Job Corps.

Well, about 3 weeks ago, he broke with me because I was too clingy and he had a busy schedule and sometimes we wouldn't talk for like 2 days, and that was putting more stress on him. About a week ago, I went to my friends graduation at that Job Corps (I went there myself) and found out that my ex was graduating too and he told me next month he was graduating, he told me the reason why he lied to me was because he was tired of getting lied to.

I feel like I'm waiting for something that's not going to happen. I want to get back with him, but there are other guys who have asked me out and what am I supposed to tell them? I have told my ex how I felt about him recently and he guessed that I missed him, and says "I don't have the same feelings for you right now". Is there a chance of us getting back together or should I just move on and try to forget?

"I don't have the same feelings for you right now".

It does not seem as though he wants to be with you, so move on.
